Ballet of the Dolls and Grant Whittaker Style once again join forces for our one and only annual fundraising event! Touted by Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine as a “show not to be missed”, Fashion Ball has quickly become one of the premiere fashion events in the Twin Cities. Unique in its mixture of high fashion and performance, costume and couture, Fashion Ball is a runway show like none other.
Fashion Ball is an adventurous and high entertainment performance that combines dance, music, theater, video and fashion as only our very own style expert Grant Whittaker can imagine. This year’s theme, ‘Fashion Revolutions’ will take you on a trip through the eras with the story of revolutions past, present and future told through fashion. Featuring over 180 new, unique looks by Grant Whittaker, pieces from the Guthrie, a multimedia stage show incorporating works from the Walker Art Center and performances by Ballet of the Dolls, this year’s ball promises to entertain and inspire your inner fashionista like never before.
A show like this takes a village and what a wonderful array of talent and support are
coming together once again to make it happen:
Dancers from Ballet of the Dolls, models from Vision Model Management, Hair &
Make-up from Denny Kenny Kemp Salon and Spa, Fashions from Grethen House, GH2,
Theatrical Costume Company, Ragstock, Fashion Avenue and many more.
This production is the only fundraising event that Ballet of the Dolls holds every season.
The proceeds go to ensure the future and continuing projects of this community’s beloved
dance theater company, Ballet of the Dolls and it’s home, The Ritz Theater.

On Friday March 1st, join us for the performance, meet the artists and enjoy a signature “couture cocktail”. Doors, at 7:00 pm. Performance at 8:00 pm. Tickets $35.00
On Saturday March 2nd join us for cocktails, hors d’oeurves and a pre-show “fashion and art silent auction” along with a post-show dance party with the artists and designers. Doors at 6:30 pm. Performance at 8:00 pm followed by a “fashion ball”! Tickets $75.00.
